Not only are skillet cookies easy to make, they are also so versatile! Whatever flavor combination you could possibly dream up can be turned into your own unique skillet cookie.
This brown butter chocolate chip M&Ms cookie is VERY VERY good:
You can see the recipe ingredients in the image above so now let’s look at the directions:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Brown butter in a pot on medium heat. Once browned set aside to cool to at least room temp.
Add flour, salt, and baking soda to a bowl and mix together.
In another bowl add dark brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, vanilla, and cooled brown butter and mix until fluffy.
Add the butter sugar mixture to the flour and fold it in.
Once the dough comes together mix in your chocolate chips and M&Ms.
Divide the dough in half this makes 2 cookies.
Spread one half evenly in a 10 inch cast iron pan and top with the extra chocolate chips and M&Ms.
Put in the oven on the middle rack for 20 minutes.
Let it cool for about 15 minutes before cutting into it.
That’s all there is to it – and it is ABSOLUTELY worth making!
You can also make your cookie in a MINI skillet – top it with some ice cream and your favorite toppings and YUM-city!
