My love for Phyllo cup / pastry shell appetizers all started with a bunch of recipes I found that just looked too good to NOT try out and put on my “famous” homemade party appetizer platters.
(yes, I’m FAMOUS for them… in MY mind haha!)
Here are two of my all-time favorites (but don’t miss the others below!)
I don’t know if YOU call them “Phyllo Cups” or “Tartlets” or just good ol’ appetizers in cups – but they’re GOOD and definite crowd-pleasers whether I make them as easy party food or take them to my potluck lunch at work every quarter.
Either way, these are all the phyllo shell filling recipes I tried… (and yes, it’s SUPER hard to read).
Now, they were all good, but there were 4 that were MY favorite and the ones my guests ask me to make again (over and OVER haha!)
But once I find a bunch of crowd-pleasing appetizer recipes, I absolutely DO make them over and over.
These specific 4 Phyllo Cup filling recipes totally made my Must Make Again list:
Each of the recipes below makes 15 mini Phyllo Cups.
You CAN use the frozen Phyllo Cups BUT…be sure to PRE-BAKE them BEFORE filling them.
Me? I like shortcuts!
✅ I use these pre-baked Room Temp Phyllo Cups.
WAYYYYYYY easier!
But if you’re using FROZEN cups…
Just plop 15 cups on a baking sheet (I line it with parchment paper) and bake at 375 until they brown up and get crispy (usually about 5 minutes or so).
THEN, make one of these simple Phyllo cup filling recipes below and stuff your cups!
(note: image quality isn’t the greatest, but I tried to make it so you can READ the actual recipe)
Be sure to save them to Pinterest…
You WILL be making these often!
