If you’re like me, you prefer to avoid harmful chemicals AND can’t stand that nasty residue store-bought furniture polish leaves behind – so…let me show you how to make your own furniture polish at home.
With this natural DIY furniture polish recipe below, you can easily clean your wooden furniture without using toxic chemicals to achieve beautiful shine with the wonderful essential oil scents of orange, lemon and pine with just some simple ingredients.
It’s really easy to make, too!
What You Need:
Here are the ingredients and supplies you need to make natural homemade furniture polish spray (and yes, it’s non-toxic and the lemon oil makes it a great wood furniture cleaner that makes your entire house smell wonderful!)
- _✅ _ GLASS Spray Bottle
- _✅ _ Lemon Essential Oil
- _✅ _ Apple Cider Vinegar
- _✅ _ Orange Essential Oil
- _✅ _ Vegetable Oil
- _✅ _ Pine Essential Oil
- _✅ _ Water

Furniture Polish Recipe
The recipe for my super easy homemade furniture polish below is how *I* mix it up, but feel free to adjust the essential oil amounts the way you want to. This essential oil dusting spray not only works REALLY well, it also smells AMAZING.
If you prefer more of a lemon smell, use more lemon oil. Same with the orange and pine essential oils.
Mixing Instructions
Here’s how I make my simple homemade furniture polish mixture:
- Fill just the bottom of the spray bottle with vegetable oil
- Add 12-15 Drops Pine Oil
- Add 10 Drops Lemon Oil
- Add 14 Drops Orange Oil
- Add 1/8 Cups Apple Cider Vinegar
- Add 1 Cup Water
- Shake Furniture Polish Solution Well
- Replace Spray Cap
- Go Use It.. and ENJOY The WONDERFUL Smell!
